Glass containers

When it comes to benefit of glass container, it gain more benefit than plastics. This type of containers is safer for food storages because it prevent harmful toxins spilled into your food. Toxins can released if you put it under high temperature such as microwave or poured hot food inside. But glass containers is not the best choice because it depending on your care- it would break [1].

In addition, glass containers also have longer life than plastic. Besides, the characteristic of eco-friendly make it easily to recycle and make huge different to the environment. This is because it won’t get burned and melted [1].

Finally, glass containers have better looking than plastics. If you reused plastics for many times, it will turn brittle and dry. Then, when you served food inside, it would cut anyone’s appetite. Better to use glass, because it transparent. People can look at the dishes and how it be served, also giving your food more appeal every time you take it out [1].

Ceramic containers

This containers usually our mom or granny fav! It being used especially when relative comes at your house in Hari Raya to put Lemang, Rendang and Kuah kacang. It also look nice and even fancier, because it well design with a lot of elegant flower. Also it can be found in antique look plus comes with many shapes [2]. Plastics containers

There are few advantages of using plastics containers but it more about the convenience [1]. Plastics containers much cheaper than glass ones even though it has high quality. This is true when it comes to replacing damaged containers. Glass containers can easily break or crack if not handling with care and it will be costly.

Next, plastic containers is lighter than glass. We have no worries to take them anywhere for takeout especially if you wanted to bring it at your work area. Even though it’s cheaper, does not mean it has lower quality. Plastic containers also can avoid spilled food if you sealed it properly, even better than glass [1].

Instead of being as food storage, plastic containers comes with variety of shapes and has a lot of functions such as plate for your kitty to drink, planting and maybe we can use it as decorations.

Paper containers

This is a good choice to save the environment from plastics pollution. But it not means paper food containers to be used for solutions. When it comes for a quick consumption [1] paper containers is the best, for example take out. Also it can used during picnic time, that make easily for you just to used it rather than brings a lot of containers, because after used it, later you can throw it into trash.
